This interactive digital water table was created for children’s hospitals across the West Coast in partnership with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. Designed specifically for young cancer patients facing long-term hospital stays, the installation combines physical play objects with a dynamic digital environment of sand and water.

By grabbing and moving tangible props, children trigger real-time interactive responses on the table’s surface—rippling water, shifting sand, and playful cause-and-effect moments. The goal was to create a safe, joyful outlet for exploration that fosters a sense of agency, wonder, and normalcy during treatment.
